| Tudor launches the Pelagos FXD Chrono “Yellow” for the 2025 Tour de France
Whilst orange is closely related to diving due to its extreme possibility of being read easily, yellow has always been associated with best cyclists. That means it has a nice 43mm case made from any high-tech carbon fiber composite which is both strong and lightweight, which makes it ideal for racing. It's also some sort of chronograph, with twin drivers on either side from the crown, so you can easily document your splits and period trials.
The yellow features are visible on the dual-eye chronograph subdials and the external tachymeter dial designed especially for cycling. The bright colour complements the black switch and case, making it more eye catching than the previous red or even pink versions. In fact , this reminds me of Tissot's Trip de France watch. Since Tudor has opened the doorway to the French Tour een France uniforms, I'm inquisitive whether the green jerseys associated with sprinters, or the more interesting polka dot pattern of outdoorsmen, will appear on the Pelagos view.
The Tudor Pelagos FXD Chrono “Yellow” is equipped with the actual brand's in-house MT5813 automated movement, which has a 70-hour reserve of power and is certified by the Switzerland Official Observatory (COSC). This particular movement is robust and it is paired with a carbon amalgamated case.
